We just received fantastic news: Team De Rooy will return to the Morocco Desert Challenge in 2027! The renowned Dutch rally team has just registered three trucks, once again choosing the MDC as its second major international rally-raid after the Dakar.
The identity of the drivers remains a secret for now. One thing is certain, however: Team De Rooy is heading to Morocco with serious ambitions.
In the previous edition, its trucks finished first, second and fifth in the overall standings. In 2027, the team aims to at least match that impressive result — and, if possible, aim even higher.
The truck field has now grown already to 7 entries: five in the Race and two in the Raid category. An exciting battle in this class of desert monsters is already taking shape.
